Rackery Farm Shop
Deliverables
Brand Design | Website Design & Build
A complete brand identity and website for Rackery Farm Shop, a family-run farm shop and café near Wrexham. Inspired by its agricultural roots and surrounding countryside, the project brings together timeless typography, a natural colour palette and thoughtful design to create a distinctive, welcoming brand.

The Brief
Rackery Farm Shop was created to celebrate quality local produce, British farming and the experience of shopping somewhere with a genuine connection to its surroundings.
As a new business, it needed an identity that would establish a strong first impression while reflecting the heritage, quality and care behind the farm shop and café.
The challenge was to strike the right balance between traditional countryside character and a more refined, contemporary feel, creating a brand that would appeal to customers without feeling overly rustic or old-fashioned.

The Approach
The creative direction centred around Rackery's agricultural heritage, its connection to the local area and the quality of the experience it wanted to offer.
Rather than relying on typical farm shop imagery, I focused on creating an identity that felt timeless and understated, using carefully considered typography and a natural, earthy colour palette to reflect the surrounding countryside.
The branding was developed with versatility in mind, ensuring it could work just as effectively on signage and packaging as it would across smaller branded details.
This thinking also carried through to the website design, where the focus was on creating a welcoming, easy-to-navigate online presence that reflected the character of the physical space and made it simple for customers to explore what Rackery had to offer.

The Result
The finished identity brings together traditional influences and contemporary simplicity, creating a brand that feels established, welcoming and connected to its roots.
A cohesive logo suite, natural colour palette and considered typography provide a flexible foundation for everything from shop signage and packaging to branded merchandise and everyday marketing materials.
Alongside the identity, I designed and built a Wix website that brings Rackery's story, farm shop and café together in one place. The website was designed to be straightforward for customers to use and easy for the team to manage as the business develops.
Seeing the branding come to life within the finished farm shop has been particularly lovely, with the identity now forming part of the wider customer experience.
The result is a consistent, recognisable brand that feels right at home in its countryside setting while giving Rackery a strong foundation for the future.
