I’m a brand and graphic designer based in Shropshire, and I help independent businesses create thoughtful, well-designed brand identities and visual systems that feel right and work hard for their business.
A little about how I work
I didn’t start LJ Design Co to chase trends or to offer quick fixes -
I started it so I could work closely with businesses I genuinely believe in and give each project the time, care and attention it deserves.

I take a calm, considered and collaborative approach. Whether you have a clear vision or you’re unsure where to begin, I’ll ask the right questions, listen carefully and bring clarity to your ideas. I design with purpose, guided by experience, not convention - so the final result feels intentional, usable and aligned with your goals.

My experience
I’ve been working in the design industry for over a decade and hold a degree in Graphic Design and Illustration from Liverpool John Moores University. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with hundreds of clients across a wide range of industries, from early-stage independent businesses to more established brands.

Each project has shaped how I work today - with a focus on clarity, consistency and purpose. I don’t just design visuals; I help businesses articulate who they are and express that in a way that feels aligned, professional and easy to apply across everything they do.
A bit of life behind the work
I live in the Shropshire countryside with my husband, our two children and two lively cockapoos. When I’m not designing, you’ll usually find me outdoors with a coffee in hand or drawing ideas on my iPad — often where the best early concepts start.

Running a business is exciting, challenging & rewarding. However, to achieve success requires great effort by ourselves & others. Lauren has been apart of our journey since we purchased the business 3.5 years ago. She is apart of our wider M&F team and has made a big difference to our success and growth.
